My name is Kari
and I like to sew quilts. I make baby quilts and sometimes adult quilts, like lap quilts or wall quilts. My mom helps me cut the pieces and I sew them together. She also helps me quilt and bind them. I have my own sewing machine. I'm still learning and practicing. I like to make quilts for friends and family, but I also make quilts to sell. This Summer, I have sold quilts at the Downtown Farmer's Market in Blue Ridge, Georgia. Mom says it has helped me learn to be more independent, social with people and I have made new friends. I've made about $500 this Summer. I used some of the money to buy a new tablet. I also put some money in the bank. I have an Etsy store too...

Check it out. I hope to do the Downtown Market again next summer. If you are in the area, come visit.
